Here at Wheel Dog we often talk about our Challenge and Title programs, and the poor Milestone program doesn’t get a lot of love. And that’s a darn shame, because it’s a great program…in our, oh so humble opinion.
We don’t talk about it much, because it’s just so straight forward, we take it for granted. Today we’re going to fix that. So, what is the Milestone program?
It’s Wheel Dog’s free program, all members are enrolled, and it costs nothing to participate once you’re a member. It’s a little like our Title program, in that it isn’t timed.
You set the timetable, and your team works towards it at your own pace.
Our first few Milestones are:
- 1 Mile Club
- 10 Mile Club
- 25 Mile Club
And, so on.
We’ve announced all the way up to the 1,000,000 Mile Club, and we can keep going from there!
So, you’ll never run out of Milestones to reach.
As soon as you log your first run (since all runs have to be a minimum of 1 mile to be counted), you’ll earn your first Milestone and enter the 1 Mile Club. We’ll send you an email to let you know you’ve earned your first Milestone.
In that email we’ll also send you your Milestone badge. Which, you can download and share on social media, your website, or anywhere else you want to brag about your team’s success.
We also recognize all our team’s accomplishments in social media posts on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as post all your Wheel Dog highlights on your team’s Team Page.
The Milestone program is a great way to dip your toe in the water, try out Wheel Dog’s programs, and start to record your team’s accomplishments. We want to show off exactly how hard your dog tries for you, and give them (and you) the recognition you deserve.
